An active chilled beam is an air-water induction terminal which works jointly to guarantee indoor air quality and suitable for cooling as well as heating.

The chilled beams make use of the outstanding thermal properties of water to guarantee an optimal level of comfort with minimum energy consumption.

High thermal capacity is achieved thanks to its induction principle. Once conditioned in a treatment unit, the fan air is expelled through induction nozzles.

This creates a pressure drop which forces the air in the premises to pass through the water battery, where the required air-water heat exchange takes place.
